The Campus Planning Office spearheaded a 2-day Mid-Year Performance Assessment and Targeting on September 5-6 which was attended by college deans and heads of offices.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Jay Omotoy, the Campus Planning Officer, emphasized the relevance of the activity to the organization.

“This activity was held to monitor and assess the performance of each college and offices with respect to SUC Levelling and PBB indicators. We also would like to learn from the best practices of each college and to plan strategies to accomplish unmet targets,” he shared.

Further, CEO Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr., lauded the initiative of the office and inspired the attendees to keep going and to strengthen their commitment to work.

“Excellence is never an accident. It is a product of perseverance, commitment and competence to do work. I commend all of you for your dedication and support. With your cooperation, there is nothing we cannot accomplish,” the CEO reiterated.

In the activity, deans presented their accomplishments and were critiqued by the CEO. From the pronouncement of the planning officer and the CEO, the colleges passed the set targets by average. The CEO further gave suggestions to accomplish unmet targets and encouraged colleges to establish partnership with international linkages.
