In a continued effort to strengthen governance and strategic planning, all heads of offices and campus designated officials convened for the 2nd Executive and Management Committee (EXECOM-MANCOM) meeting on February 11, 2025, at the Administration Building Conference Hall.
Presided over by the Campus Executive Officer, Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr., the meeting served as a platform to discuss key matters concerning academics, administration, research, development, extension programs, and internationalization efforts and other matters. Each agenda item was carefully deliberated, with officials presenting updates, challenges, and proposed initiatives to enhance institutional operations.
Among the critical topics tackled were guidelines on the practice of profession outside CSU, return of faculty members to their mother college and updates on the preparation for the University Meet. Administrative concerns, including OPCR for 2024 and OPCR 2025 targets, funds/budget status, leave application, schedule of personnel, swapping of duty and protocols in requesting office orders, communication and travel orders.
The research, development, and extension (RDE) agenda highlighted updates on research and KTM matter particularly on institutionalization of Turnitin and AI checker and some updates on extension programs of the campus. Discussions on internationalization focused on updates on IZN events and activities.
Other matters were likewise raised concerning the utilization of single-use plastic policy in the campus.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the employee’s commitment towards academic excellence, administrative efficiency, and research-driven development. Officials were encouraged to work collaboratively in implementing resolutions that will drive the institution forward in the coming months.
