CSUG subjects BS in Agriculture program to AACCUP Level III Phase 2 Accreditation

Among the seven (7) programs offered in CSU-Gonzaga, the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is now being subjected to online Level III Phase 2 Accreditation by the external accreditors from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) on November 13-15.

The campus task force prepared documents and evidences on areas of Instruction, Faculty Development, Extension, Consortia and Linkages.

In the opening program, CEO Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr., welcomed the accreditors and pointed out the important roles that they’ll play in validating the university’s efforts in delivering quality services.

“We are proud to open our doors, our classrooms, and our academic endeavors to your scrutiny, knowing that your thorough assessment will help us refine and strengthen our offerings. Your feedback is a catalyst for our evolution and our unwavering commitment to excellence,” the CEO stated.

Also, in her message, Dr. Mariden Cauilan, the University’s VP for Academic Affairs, who represented the University President, stressed out the significance of accreditation to the university as a whole.

“Accreditation has tremendous value to the academic work and it is done for the benefit of our students,” she said.

Sitting as overall coordinator of the AACCUP team is Dr. Manuel A. Sanchez Jr. of Iloilo Science and Technology University and the accreditors for the BS in Agriculture program are Dr. Eva Agbay, the team leader from Cebu Technological University and Prof. Ronald Briones of Tarlac Agricultural University.
