Judge Ramses S. Peralta, a proud alumnus of Cagayan State University–Gonzaga Campus, was recognized as one of the awardees of Dayaw ti CSU 2025, the Distinguished Alumni Award jointly conferred by the Federation Alumni Associations of CSU, Inc. and Cagayan State University. The awarding ceremony was held on December 20 at the Claude Andrews Convention Center, CSU Andrews, Tuguegarao City.
The Federation Alumni Associations of CSU, Inc. is led by Atty. Carmelo Villacete, who, together with university officials, honored outstanding alumni whose professional excellence and service embody the core values of the university.
Judge Peralta, a native of Gonzaga, Cagayan, completed his high school education at CSU–Gonzaga Campus as part of Batch 1993. He went on to earn his A.B. Economics, cum laude, from Cagayan State University and later obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from Cagayan Colleges. His journey in public service began early through student and youth leadership, having served as Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President, before steadily rising through the ranks of the legal profession.
Over the years, Judge Peralta served as a Public Attorney and Trial Lawyer, and later became the Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 07, Aparri, Cagayan, where he continues to uphold justice with fairness, integrity, and compassion. Beyond the judiciary, he has been active in civic and professional organizations, having served as President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Cagayan Chapter and held various leadership roles in the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines.
Judge Peralta is also recognized as a businessman and community builder. He serves as the Founding Chairman of the Gonzaga Credit Cooperative and leads local enterprises that contribute to regional growth and development.
Joining Judge Peralta during the awarding ceremony were his wife, Mrs. Mia Mirella C. Peralta; Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr., Campus Executive Officer of CSU–Gonzaga; Dr. Clyden Charl Alibania, Campus Alumni Relations and Placement Services Coordinator; and Ms. Florina Gonzales, representative of the Faculty Association of the campus.
A steadfast supporter of his alma mater, Judge Peralta has remained deeply connected to CSU through his active participation in alumni initiatives, academic events, and student-centered activities. His consistent presence and willingness to give back reflect his belief that success is most meaningful when it inspires and uplifts future generations.
