An evaluation of the YET projects in the campus was held last September 22, 2022 at the Administration Conference Hall building. This was attended by representatives from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Mr. Romeo Puyat and Mr. Ferdinand Michael Magusib, 8 YET advisers, 15 student beneficiaries, the CEO and the Campus RDE team.

During the evaluation, leaders of the 5 projects made presentation on the physical and financial accomplishments, status of amortization cycle and income generated, catch-up plan and sustainability plan including issues and concerns and proposed solutions of each project.

YET project or better known as the Youth Empowerment through Technopreneurship was a partnered project between CSU and DOST which intends to develop entrepreneurial competencies among youth by providing financial assistance to college students and young professionals with research projects that are commercially potential.

Last February 2021, DOST Region 02 released an amount of Php P691, 995.00 to assist the implementation of the YET project in CSU-Gonzaga. Under the YET are five student empowerment projects which include:
1. TANGIMAS
2. Kabutehan ng mga Estudyante: A student Empowerment Project Venturing to Mushroom Production and Processing at CSU Gonzaga, Cagayan
3. Production and Commercialization of Multiple-Grafted Bonsai Bougainvillea Plants and Bougainvillea Potting Mix in Cagayan State University- Gonzaga Campus
4. CSUG Bubble Donut
5. Establishment of Bio-Organic Fertilizer Production Center

To ensure that the projects are sustained and financial support is properly utilized, the evaluation was held.
