The College of Agriculture of Cagayan State University–Gonzaga held a testimonial dinner in honor of the Licensure Examination for Agriculturists (LEA) 2025 passers and their parents on December 16 at the MABRIC Conference Hall. The event carried the theme “CA Soars for LEA 2025: Tribute to Excellence and Perseverance,” celebrating the hard work, sacrifices, and achievements behind the graduates’ success.
Campus Executive Officer Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr., delivered a message of commendation and heartfelt appreciation to the parents and families of the passers, recognizing their unwavering sacrifices, patience, and trust throughout their children's academic journey. He emphasized that behind every licensed agriculturist is a family that chose to believe, endure, and support—even during moments of difficulty and uncertainty. Dr. Pacris further highlighted that the licensure examination marks only the beginning of a wider professional journey, noting the many employment and career opportunities now open to the passers in government service, private institutions, agribusiness, research, and community development.
Also, Dr. Glyzelda Gonzales, Campus Academic and Quality Assurance Coordinator, shared an inspiring message of gratitude and affirmation with the parents, stakeholders, and faculty members who played a vital role in the graduates' success. She underscored the importance of collective effort in achieving academic excellence, acknowledging the tireless mentorship, discipline, and guidance provided by the faculty of the College of Agriculture. Dr. Gonzaga reminded passers that their achievements reflect quality education anchored in strong academic standards and continuous quality assurance.
Adding to the words of encouragement, Dr. Roger Rumpon, University Dean of Agriculture, conveyed his message of inspiration, motivating the new agriculturists to uphold excellence and professionalism as they embark on their careers.
Meanwhile, Dr. Jayrome Butay, Dean of the College of Agriculture, delivered a heartfelt message likening the graduates’ success to seeds carefully planted, nurtured by dreams, watered with diligence and sacrifice, and sustained by perseverance and faith. He emphasized that the license they earned is not only a symbol of achievement but also a seed of responsibility, to serve the nation, advance agriculture, and contribute to food security. He encouraged the passers to continue sowing knowledge, compassion, and integrity in every step of their professional journey.
Making the celebration even more meaningful were the testimonies shared by the passers and their parents, who recounted stories of perseverance, faith, and collective effort behind the triumph. The testimonial dinner served as a fitting tribute to excellence and resilience, marking a proud milestone for the College of Agriculture and the CSU–Gonzaga community.
