CSU-Gonzaga opens the Academic Year 2022-2023 through a grand and ‘freshtive’ Campus Orientation Program on September 6, 2022 at the campus gymnasium.

A total of 2, 012 students attended on-site which is higher compared to the total enrollees of 1828 last 1st semester of the previous academic year. Of the total enrollees, 652 of them are first year students. This is the highest number among the different year levels according to record of the Campus Registrar.

Meanwhile, the Campus Executive Officer, Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr., in his welcome message, thanked the freshmen for choosing CSU-Gonzaga. He assured the studentry that the faculty and admin personnel are committed to provide the best and quality services the students deserve.

Moreover, the CEO also presented the accomplishments of the campus along Instruction, Research, Extension and Production despite the onslaught of the COVID 19 pandemic in the past years. Some of them are the inaugurated academic and laboratory buildings of CHM and CICS, Innovation Center for Mangrove and Bamboo, TVET and Business Centers, Bamboo Sanctuary, CESTEEPH and Swine Multiplier. The CEO encouraged the students to make the most of their stay in the university because CSU-Gonzaga is innately rich with resources and hard-working people that led Gonzaga to where it is today.

The who-day activity was initiated by the Guidance Office and the Campus Student Council. During the opening program, faculty of instruction and administrative personnel were introduced. Various policies and services offered in the university were also tackled comprehensively by the respective coordinators/heads of offices.
The ‘freshtive’ activities prepared by the CSC continues on Sept. 7 where freshies are toured around the campus and a showcase of talents will also be witnessed in the campus gymnasium.
