CSUG produces 10 New Licensed Agriculturists

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released today, November 22, the result of the 2024 Licensure Examination for Agriculturists, marking a significant achievement for Cagayan State University (CSU)-Gonzaga’s College of Agriculture. The college recorded a 50% school passing rate, with 10 passers.

The November 2024 Licensure Examination for Agriculturists tested examinees on Crop Science, Soil Science, Crop Protection, Animal Science, Agricultural Economics and Marketing, and Agricultural Extension and Communication.

Dr. Jayrome Butay, Dean of the College of Agriculture, expressed his gratitude to the university officials, faculty members, test takers, their families, and the Campus Executive Officer, Prof. Dr. Froilan A. Pacris Jr., for their collective efforts in achieving this milestone.

“This success is a testament to the dedication of our faculty and the unwavering support of our CEO, Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr. and OIC President, Engr. Dr. Arthur G. Ibanez. I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to Engr. Roger Rumpon, our University Dean of Agriculture, whose support in the conduct of first in-house review program at CSU-Gonzaga was instrumental to this success,” Dr. Butay shared.

The in-house review program was lauded as a pivotal initiative in preparing graduates for the licensure exams, significantly enhancing their readiness and confidence.

Dr. Butay concluded by thanking everyone who contributed to this success through their encouragement, prayers, and steadfast support, emphasizing that the collective effort of the CSU-Gonzaga ‘tangkiran’ community made the achievement possible.
