The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results of the 2024 September Licensure Examination for Teachers on December 13, 2024, and CSU-Gonzaga College of Teacher Education has achieved remarkable success. The institution proudly produced 21 new elementary teachers and 46 secondary teachers majoring in English and Filipino.
The college surpassed the national passing rates for both elementary and secondary levels, thanks to the collective efforts of its administrators, faculty members, students, parents, and stakeholders. For the elementary level, CSU-Gonzaga posted an impressive school performance of 80.77%, significantly higher than the national passing rate of 45.51%. Similarly, in the secondary level, the campus recorded a passing rate of 79.31%, well above the national rate of 56.88%.
Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, CEO of CSU-Gonzaga, and Dr. Romar Banadero, Dean of the College of Teacher Education, commended the entire college community for their dedication and commitment to excellence in education. "This achievement reflects our commitment to preparing future educators who are not only competent but also equipped to make a meaningful impact in the field of teaching," Dr. Banadero said in a statement.
