CSU conducts a stakeholders' meeting for the CSU Forest Reserve

A stakeholders' meeting for the CSU Forest Reserve was held on May 10, 2024 at the MABRIC Conference Hall. This was attended by the OIC President, himself, Dr. Arthur Ibañez together with the Legal team of the university represented by Atty Maerian Tejero and Atty. Timothy Jansen Allas and the Dean of the CSU College of Law, Atty Norman Lasam.

Other university officials who attended the meeting were Engr. Matthew Miguel Custodio of the LUDIP office and the members of the CSU Drone Shoot team, Ms. Danielyn Libunao, Mr. Levie John Baclig and Mr. Rafael Irorita from CSU- Carig.

Partners from other agencies who also graced the meeting were Mr. Earl Joshua Cagampang from LGU-Gonzaga, Mr. Joselito Razon, Mr. Jose Canapi and Ms. Hazel Joy Saludares of DENR-CENRO Aparri, Atty. John Mark Paracad and Mr. Enrique Pasion of DENR-PENRO, Mr. Jhorace Tupas of DENR-BMB, Mr. Fernando Siringan of UP MSI and Mr. Kit David of ISU-Law.

Officials of CSU-Gonzaga who were likewise present were Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, the CEO of the campus, Prof. Marvin Baloloy, the campus forest reserve focal person, Dr. Jayrome Butay, the Dean of the College of Agriculture, the members of the campus forest reserve committee and Mr. Dencio Baclig of the campus IGP.

On the part of the barangay officials, the attendees were Mr. Louie Savedra, Barangay Captain and Mr. Melchor Mulli-ig, Barangay Kagawad of Sta. Clara, Mr. Dionicio Manding, Barangay Kagawad of Cabiraoan and Mr. Danilo Tamayo, CSU Retiree.
