The College of Teacher Education (CTE) of Cagayan State University–Gonzaga recorded commendable results in the November 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), as officially released on December 18, posting passing rates significantly higher than the national averages.
For the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) program, CSU–Gonzaga achieved an overall passing rate of 87.50 percent, with 42 out of 48 examinees passing the examination. This performance notably surpassed the national passing rate of 72.62 percent.
Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) program registered an overall passing rate of 76.67 percent, with 23 out of 30 examinees successfully passing, well above the national passing rate of 51.04 percent.
The campus also posted outstanding results among first-time takers. BEED first-time examinees recorded a 90.91 percent passing rate, with 20 out of 22 passers, while BSED first-time takers achieved an 88.89 percent passing rate, with 40 out of 45 examinees passing the licensure examination.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Romar Banadero, Dean of the College of Teacher Education, thanked CSU–Gonzaga Campus Executive Officer Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr. for his unwavering support to the college. He also acknowledged the dedication and commitment of the faculty members, as well as the invaluable support of parents and stakeholders, who all contributed to the success of the graduates.
The recent LET performance reflects CSU–Gonzaga’s sustained commitment to academic excellence, quality instruction, and holistic teacher preparation.
