The Honorable Mayor Marilyn S. Pentecostes of the Municipality of Gonzaga received a Plaque of Recognition during the Opening Program of the 45th Founding Anniversary of Cagayan State University on June 7 at the Red Eagle gymnasium, Carig campus, Tuguegarao.
As one of the benefactors of CSU, Mayor Pentecostes was recognized for her contribution to public service and invaluable support to the CSU-Gonzaga campus through assistance in infrastructure projects aiding in the implementation of university activities and the ratification of local ordinances in response to the Mangrove and Bamboo programs, niche in the campus.
Present during the awarding ceremony were the officials of the university headed by the President Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado, CESO II; Father Ranhilio C. Aquino, Professor Emeritus of CSU; other public officials from the different municipalities in Cagayan; the Congressman of the 3rd district of Cagayan, Hon. Joseph L. Lara, and the Honorable Senator, Sherwin Gatchallan.
The CSU-Gonzaga community extends its congratulations and thanks to the Honorable Mayor and the whole Local Government Unit of Gonzaga for the unwavering support to CSU.
