Inspired by the ‘tangkiran’ spirit of camaraderie and optimism, the different process owners of CSU-Gonzaga welcomed the auditors from the university on January 19 for the University Internal Audit.

With the purpose of assessing the preparedness of the campus for the external visit, the auditors led by Dr. Ronald Cachero looked closely on the documentation of various processes in offices and checked on the availability of other evidences to support the processes.
Meanwhile, Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr, the CEO of the campus was very supportive of the ISO. He mentioned that being certified as ISO compliant is a mark of a good and quality service, yet he reiterated that ISO processes must be sustained and must become a way of life in the campus. The CEO also commended the efforts of everyone for working hard for the future of the university.

Later in the program, after the auditors visit the different offices, each gave their impressions, observations and inputs for improvement. There were positive comments but there are still much to do to be fully compliant with the requirements for ISO.

ISO External Audit for CSU-Gonzaga is set to happen on March.

Moreover, the IGP office of the campus underwent internal audit plan on January 25. The audit was led by the University Internal Auditor, Ma’am Joyce Roc and the Lead Internal Auditor, Ma’am Alicia Ashley Pintucan.
