The Office of the Campus Academic and Quality Assurance, in collaboration with the Management Information System (MIS) Office, spearheaded an orientation on the Faculty Performance Evaluation (FPE) tool and the evaluation system to be used for student-based assessments every semester. The orientation was held on January 20 at the MABRIC Conference Hall and was attended by all regular and full-time faculty members of the campus.
The activity aimed to orient and remind faculty members of the key performance areas and evaluation criteria for each academic term. Emphasis was placed on the evaluation process as a key driver of quality instruction, accountability, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
An interactive discussion followed the presentation and was facilitated by the newly appointed Campus Academic Coordinator, Dr. Glyzelda H. Gonzales. The discussion focused on faculty observation schedules and other academic-related matters. Faculty members actively raised questions and concerns, which were immediately addressed during the open forum.
The same orientation is scheduled to be conducted for students from the six colleges on January 21–23 at the Campus Gymnasium. This activity aims to ensure that students are properly guided on the Faculty Performance Evaluation tool and the evaluation process they will undertake each semester.
