Foreign partners visit CSUG’s MABRIC, Bamboo Sanctuary

CEO Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr., together with the coordinators and staff of the Research and Development and Partnership and Resource Mobilization offices of the campus, welcomed the international partners from the Universitas Warmadewa, Universiti Teknologi Mara, and Universita Muhammmadiyah Sumatra Utara, for a benchmarking activity on August 16, 2024.

The guests were delegates from the Youth Futures Exchange Program lecture series which started in CSU Andrews convention center on August 14.

Part of their itinerary was to visit campuses and learn from various projects and programs implemented there.

The team was personally toured by CEO Pacris in the Bamboo Sanctuary and in the tissue culture laboratories in the Mangrove and Bamboo Research and Innovation Center of the campus. Processes held in the laboratories were presented and some products that are currently produced were likewise shown by the MABRIC staff.

After a fun and interactive discussion with the team, they proceeded to Sta. Ana, Cagayan for an island hopping at Cape Engano, Palaui island.
Furthermore, the guests were from Indonesia and Malaysia.
