A team from Baggao National Agricultural School headed by Principal Felix A. Quinan, Jr. was welcomed by the faculty members of the College of Agriculture of CSU-Gonzaga in their benchmarking activity on Bamboo and Dragon Fruit Production on October 11, 2023.

Dr. Romar Banadero, the Bamboo Project Coordinator spoke on behalf the Campus Executive Officer. He expressed his gratitude to the team for trusting CSU in giving training and technical assistance in Bamboo and Dragon Fruit production. Dr. Charisma Vivit, the Campus Extension Coordinator, likewise welcomed the delegation and expressed the campus’s willingness to enter into partnership with them in the future.

In response, Mr. Quinan thanked the RDE team of Gonzaga for the invaluable teachings and warm accommodation. He is very much in favor with the partnership with CSU.

Faculty members of the College of Agriculture led the discussion wherein Dr. Jayrome Butay presented the ways of producing Dragon Fruit while Prof. Marvin Baloloy discussed Bamboo production, care and management. A farm tour and site visitation was held after the lecture.
