The Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Region 02 recognized Cagayan State University-Gonzaga Campus as TOP 3 Performing School (Category B) offering Bachelor of Science in Criminology after its exemplary performance in the December 2022 Board Licensure Examination for Criminologists.
CSU-Gonzaga was accorded category B with 20-49 examinees. In the December 2022 Board Examination for Criminologists, CSU-Gonzaga got an Institutional Passing Rate of 48.18% with 13 passers out of 27 takers.
The award was received by the dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education of CSU-Gonzaga, Dr. Emily Garcia, during the Oath taking Ceremony of the Newly Registered Criminologist at SM City Tuguegarao last March 11, 2023.
In an interview, Dr. Garcia shared the recognition to the Campus Executive Officer, Dr. Froilan Pacris, Jr. for his all-out support to the college together with the faculty members of the college, and the parents of the Criminology students.
“With the new curriculum implemented during the last board examination, our college is challenged to improve from our previous board examination performance. The cooperation of all stakeholders plays a vital role in our success as one college. We shall extend our commitment in the best of our ability to serve our students and our beloved institution,” Dr. Garcia added.
