DSWD R2 ORIENTS CFWP-CG BENEFICIARIES OF GONZAGA

Creating employment opportunities to college graduates in Gonzaga, the Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 2 held an orientation program on October 10, 2023 to alumni of CSU-Gonzaga who were beneficiaries of the Cash for Work Project for College Graduates (CFWP-CG).

This is under the DSWD’s program on Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) which aims to provide assistance to unemployed college graduates.

Leading the discussion were the DSWD Regional Program Management Office staff, Iarah Domingo, Beneracion Cristobal and Kathlene Cabañero who discussed the rules, benefits, duties and other matters pertaining to deployment. Also present during the orientation was the Head of DSWD Gonzaga Mrs. Renie A. Imperio.

With the leadership of Dr. Clyden Charl Alibania of the Alumni Relations and Placement Services of the campus and the different college counterparts, Dr. Charisma Vivit from the College of Business Entrepreneurship and Accountancy, Dr. Khayle Agluba of the College of Hospitality Management, and Prof. Ma. Christina Sumiog of the College of Teacher Education who facilitated the event, the orientation was held successfully.
