After the inclusive three-year hiatus brought about by the pandemic, Cagayan State University Gonzaga's student leaders participated in the Philippine Association of Campus Student Advisers with this year's 42nd Annual National Convention of Campus Student Advisers and 26th Annual National Convention for Student Leaders, CONNECTIVITY 2023: "L.E.A.D. through Borderless Community on March 8 -11 at Teachers' Camp, Baguio City.
The student leaders were CSC President Jhon Lloyd Cabais, CBEA Governor Lorraine Marie Lemi, and CTE Governor Ridge Justine Tacas. Moreover, different contested activities, including Essay writing, On-the-Spot Poetry, Extemporaneous speech, Hip-hop dance, TikTok, Solo and Duet, Poster-Making, and, Ginoo at Mutya ng PACSL 2023, were held during the 4-day event.
Furthermore, CSC President Jhon Lloyd Cabais was one among those who represented Cagayan State University in the different competitions, particularly in the essay writing contest.
Hence, we take this opportunity to extend our profound gratitude to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Marilyn Pentecostes, our Vice Mayor, Hon. Jessie Gaspar, and all the Sangguniang Bayan members for supporting the endeavor of our student leaders.
Also, to our teachers, our CSC Adviser, Ma'am Jamaica Mae Figueras, our OSDW Coordinator, Ma'am Florina Gonzales, and to our CEO, Dr. Froilan Pacris Jr. for their unconditional support to our student leaders to join such National Convention as it is one of the avenues to hone their skills and talent as leaders.
