Cagayan State University-Gonzaga Campus was recognized by the University as the Top 3 Performing Campus with the highest number of Level II accredited programs, during the Training on Accreditation and Internationalization Initiatives held on August 5, 2025, at the Claude Andrews Convention Center, Tuguegarao City. The event was spearheaded by the Cagayan State University System, in partnership with the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).

The recognition was awarded in acknowledgment of CSU-Gonzaga’s ongoing pursuit of academic quality and excellence. The campus currently holds Level II accreditation status for six academic programs, namely: Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information System (BSAIS), Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BS Crim), Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM), and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) along with Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE).

As part of its continuous improvement efforts, CSU-Gonzaga is actively working toward higher levels of accreditation. This September, three of its programs are set to undergo Level III accreditation, while its BS Agriculture program is already leading toward Level III, pending compliance with four remaining items.

This milestone affirms CSU-Gonzaga’s commitment to academic distinction and institutional development, inspiring its faculty, staff, and students to strive even further toward excellence in higher education.
