The Cagayan State University-Gonzaga Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) unit was given an Outstanding over-all remark after their exemplary performance in the different activities during the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection on May 27, 2024 at the CSU-Gonzaga open ground.
Based on the result handed to the Commandant and ROTC Coordinator, the unit performed outstanding in all activities which include: ceremonial parade, company/platoon drill, comprehensive exams for basic cadets, method of instruction (MOI) of advance cadet, opord writing, military courtesy and discipline, disassembly and assembly of M16 and Cal. 45, map reading, small unit tactics (SUT), first aid and evaluation of admin papers.
The 129 cadets and cadettes of ROTC Gonzaga were evaluated by the inspection team headed by the Vice Chairman LTC Vincent A. Lauigan, AGS, (PA). The unit was manned by its commandant, Major Tirso Tugagao, PA (RES) and was supervised by the ROTC coordinator of the campus Dr. Emily P. Garcia.
With the all-out support given by the administration, employees and students, the RAATI 2024 concluded victoriously.
The campus also extends its gratitude to the Gonzaga South Central School through the leadership of its Principal, Sir Carlito Torres, for the participation of their drums and twillers.
