Dr. Alvarado orients University Project Leaders in aligning proposals to DOST's framework

A pool of Project Leaders of DOST, DA-BAR funded projects from the different CSU campuses convened on August 7, 2024 at the CSU-Gonzaga MABRIC conference hall for a meeting cum crafting of proposals with Dr. Urdujah Alvarado, the University Technical Adviser, as the trainer/speaker.


Dr. Alvarado discussed the framework/format of the Department of Science and Technology that'll be used by the proponents in crafting proposals for external funding and are in line with the SUC and PBB levelling indicators. She likewise encouraged the project leaders to propose researches that are related to the campus niche commodities.

During the opening program, Dr. Arthur G. Ibaňez, the University OIC President, lauded the event and appreciated the initiative to conduct a relevant and timely training for the university. The President likewise reminded the participants to make the most of the training, and to ensure that their outputs be contributory to the attainment of the university’s accreditation in SUC levelling and PBB.

Later after thorough discussion of the DOST format in crafting proposal, representative from each campus presented their outputs and were critiqued by Dr. Alvarado and Dr. Junel Guzman, the University Vice President for Research, Development and Extension.
