The Campus Gender and Development (GAD) Office of Cagayan State University-Gonzaga, headed by GAD Coordinator Ms. Rizzalou Garma, conducted an orientation on the Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF) on June 18, 2026, at the Admin Conference Hall.

The activity gathered members of the Campus GAD Focal Persons in the different colleges and the Technical Working Group to strengthen their understanding of the GMEF and its role in institutionalizing gender-responsive governance.

The Campus Executive Officer, Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr., joined the activity and delivered a message encouraging participants to continue supporting initiatives that promote gender mainstreaming and strengthen the implementation of Gender and Development (GAD) programs across the campus.

The orientation highlighted the GMEF as a strategic assessment tool used to evaluate an organization's progress in integrating gender perspectives into governance, planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The framework also enables institutions to identify strengths, address gaps, and improve the implementation of GAD initiatives.

Through the orientation, the Campus GAD Office continues to support CSU-Gonzaga's efforts to strengthen institutional capacity in implementing gender-responsive policies and programs.
