The Guidance Office through the leadership of its OIC Guidance Counselor, Ms. Joyce Aminel Espedido, organized an Employment Counseling Seminar on June 27, 2024 to provide the graduating students of the campus an overview of the job market and career waiting for them after graduation.
Assisting the office in the discussion on employment coaching and labor education, the officials from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 2 were invited. Ms. Ailene Amichelle Tuliao, the Senior Labor and Employment Officer and Ms. Lhen Alona Macarubbo- Labor and Employment Officer II, graced the event and made interactive discussion with the students.
Further, the head of the Municipal Public Employment Service Office, Mr. Julius Mar Sistoza, extended his greetings to the graduating class for their perseverance to finish their course.
On the other hand, Dr. Jay Omotoy, the Dean of the College of Entrepreneurship and Accountancy, represented the CEO in the program. Dr. Omotoy advised the graduating class to make the most of the activity as this will guide them in their future career.
The commencement exercises of the graduating class of CSU-Gonzaga will be held on July 2 at the Gonzaga People's gymnasium. This event signals the beginning of a new chapter in their lives as future professionals and employees in the community.
