Cagayan State University-Gonzaga (CSU-Gonzaga) welcomed a validation team from the Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (DA-ACEF) Region 02 on September 12. The visit was part of the ongoing assessment of CSU-Gonzaga’s research project, which was funded through the DA-ACEF Grant-In-Aid Program.
The delegation was warmly received by CSU-Gonzaga's Campus Executive Officer, Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr. Following their arrival, the group participated in a meeting where they discussed the current status and updates regarding the university's research initiatives.
The DA-ACEF team included Ms. Nieves Andres, DA-PMED P.O. II, Mr. Vergel G. Nuqui, DA-CO A.A. I, Ms. Jean Mica Tejeno, DA-CO PDO I, Ms. Evelyn Naval, DA-CO AA III, and Mr. Carl Vicente, DA-CO AA VI. Their visit underscored the DA-ACEF's commitment to ensuring that the research projects they support are on track and aligned with the program's objectives to enhance agricultural competitiveness in the region.
CSU-Gonzaga’s research project, funded by the DA-ACEF, is seen as a vital contributor to advancing agricultural research and development in Cagayan, particularly in boosting local innovation and productivity within the agricultural sector.
