Faculty members from the College of Information and Computing Sciences (CICS) of Cagayan State University – Gonzaga Campus proudly represented the university at the PSITE National Convention 2026, held on March 26–28 at The Marison Hotel, Legazpi City, Albay. The national gathering brought together IT educators, academic leaders, and industry experts under the theme “PSITE 2.0: Augmenting Education, Connecting Community, and Thriving with AI.”
Representing CSU Gonzaga were Dr. Clyden Charl B. Alibania, College Dean, Dr. Verdict L. Gonzales, Dr. Dorothy M. Ayuyang, Dr. Elmarie Rufina A. Suetos, Dr. Charlot L. Maramag, Ms. Jean S. Torres, and Mr. John Eric S. Santiago.
Throughout the three-day convention, participants attended plenary sessions, technology talks, and collaborative discussions focused on artificial intelligence integration, digital transformation in education, open-source skills, learning analytics, and future-ready IT curricula. The event provided valuable insights and best practices that will further enhance teaching, research, and curriculum development at CSU Gonzaga.
