CSU-Gonzaga Tangkiran Band emerged victorious in the Battle of the Bands held during the OktoberFest celebration on October 24, 2025, at the Sta. Teresita Municipal Gymnasium.
The event brought together various local artists and student musicians from different institutions, all eager to showcase their talent, creativity, and passion for music. Competing bands performed a range of genres, from rock and pop to Original Pilipino Music, sparking excitement and enthusiasm from the crowd.
The CSU-Gonzaga Tangkiran Band captivated both judges and audience with their outstanding stage presence, musical precision, and dynamic performance, ultimately earning them the championship title.
According to Mr. Jerome Sabug, the Campus Socio-Cultural coordinator, the invitation was an opportunity not only to entertain but also to provide a platform for young musicians to express themselves artistically while representing the campus.
The team from CSU-Gonzaga was composed of Jenie Lorenzo, Stephen Yadao, Reynel Garo, Joshua Aguinaldo, Kea Lei Marcos, Jensen Malazzab, Angelo Labsang Buan. They were mentored by Ms. Kristine N. Suetos.
The victory of the CSU-Gonzaga Tangkiran Band is a testament to the continuous dedication of the campus to nurturing student talent and supporting cultural and artistic development.
