CAMPUS UPDATE| After the recently concluded hosting of University Meet in CSU-Gonzaga, a recognition and awarding ceremonies was held on March 28, 2023 to all deserving athletes and performers who brought honor to the campus in their respective individual and group events.
Further, partner agencies were also given due recognition for their immense support and services extended during the UM which contributed to the success of the event.
From the final tally of the Campus Committee on Tabulation, CSU-Gonzaga Cardinal garnered a total of 45 points in the Socio-Cultural events which secured the team 6th place. In Sports events, on the other hand, team Cardinal got 30 Gold, 23 Silver and 42 Bronze which secured the team 3rd place.
"Team Cardinal was able to maintain its rank in Sports. From the bottom of my heart, I thank everyone for all the sacrifices and help extended. This success is for all and for our campus as a whole, " Dr. Evelyn Saribay, the Campus Sports Coordinator, shared.
