CSUG employees, students recognize for exemplary services to CSU
On the celebration of the 45th anniversary of CSU, employees and students of CSU-Gonzaga were given recognition for their unwavering commitment and exemplary performance in areas of Instruction, Research, Extension and Production during the President’s Night on June 7 at the Red Eagle gymnasium, CSU-Carig campus, Tuguegarao.
Among the different nominees in the 9 campuses of CSU, Scott Louie Pasion, a 4th year BS in Accounting and Information System student, was adjudged as Outstanding Student of the Year. While the Extension project of the campus dubbed as ‘Bamboo Sanctuary of Northern Luzon,’ was declared Outstanding Extension Project of the Year. The award was received by CEO Pacris as the Project Leader and the RDE team with Dr. Romar Banadero, the Extension coordinator, Prof. Marvin Baloloy, the Research coordinator, Prof. Mae Angelica Sinco and Dr. Jay Omotoy.
Nominees of the campus in the different categories were likewise given recognition. Dr. Froilan A. Pacris., Jr., is a nominee for the CEO of the year. Mrs. Glenda S. Juan is a nominee for the admin personnel of the year. Prof. Gerlie B. Hardy is a nominee for the researcher of the year. Dr. Charisma Vivit and Dr. Jomel Pinera are nominees for the faculty of the year. Dr. Jay Omotoy and Dr. Wendy Joy Garma are the nominees for the Dean of the Year. Mr. Klen Dela Cruz and Ms. Katherine Rio Lemi are nominees for the auxiliary service award. Mr. John Lloyd Cabais is also a nominee for the student of the year.
Furthermore, Mr. Elmo Orteza, Dr. Reynold Pattaui and Prof. Jenny Vi Irorita were recipients of the Loyalty award.
The whole CSU-Gonzaga community extends its gratitude to the University President, Dr. Urdujah G. Alvarado and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mariden V. Cauilan for the recognitions.
