CSU-Gonzaga Welcomes Mr. Jack Wong’s Delegation for Strategic Collaboration Talks

Cagayan State University–Gonzaga warmly welcomed Mr. Jack Wong, Head Director of Telenta Global Holdings Corporation, and his delegation on November 23, 2025, for a strategic collaboration meeting aimed at strengthening academic, industry, and community partnerships.

The visiting delegation included Mr. Erickson Abad, President of Global Information Technology Solutions (Worldnet Information Technology Solutions); Ms. Karla Martin, General Manager of Captain Jack’s Diner and Café; Mr. Kevin Manansala of Lift Philippines; and Mr. Jherico Muñoz of One Healthcare. Together, they engaged with CSU officials to explore areas of mutual cooperation.

Representing the university were Dr. Ana Marie Cauilan, Vice President for Internationalization, Partnership, and Resource Mobilization, and Campus Executive Officer Dr. Froilan A. Pacris, Jr., alongside other campus officials.

During the meeting, both parties discussed potential internship opportunities for CSU students in various industries represented by the delegation. They also explored the possibility of CSU-Gonzaga supplying agricultural and processed products to Captain Jack’s Diner and Café, further supporting local enterprise development.

Moreover, the group tackled prospects for expanding the university’s renowned Bamboo Sanctuary, a flagship initiative of CSU-Gonzaga, as well as boosting production efforts to support future innovations and partnerships.

After the meeting, Dr. Cauilan, Dr. Pacris, and CSU-Gonzaga officials toured Mr. Wong and his delegation around the campus’s Mangrove and Bamboo Research and Innovation Center (MABRIC), the Bamboo Sanctuary, and the Engineered Bamboo Products facility, showcasing the campus's own products and services.
